We are not just Ladies in a man’s world practicing in the medical field. We still play the vital roles of wives mothers daughters sisters and friends, stretched to divide between work and our personal lives. Hence, the subtitle… The Struggle…The Juggle…and the Greatest of these…The Joy! White Coat and Heels is an expression of feminism and medicine. The vision to see through the walls in medicine and gain oneness. To create an environment where women can openly embrace the places we work hard and long to save lives, empower, counsel with the skills and expertise we have aquired to the well-being of our patients. It’s in our nature. So, I envision this site to be 5th Avenue, where we can shed our White Coats, Strut in our Heels, take a moment for ourselves, support one another and give back to those who follow. I guess, I should add…and let our hair down. Thanks for joining me as the Journey together begins… I’m not sure if other sites similar to mines exist…but I’m pretty sure we will have the best time on 5th Avenue.
